Winter 2022
We recently had to say goodbye to another amazing FanCompass intern. Nick Pica was an absolute pleasure to work with and he will certainly be missed. He wanted to share a few words about his time here at FanCompass:
“As a senior at Eastern Connecticut State University I was required to take an internship to fulfill my degree requirements and ready myself for a career in the business world of sport. Having my internship at FanCompass not only fulfilled that requirement but gave me the opportunity to immerse myself within a field I grew to be passionate about.
Getting the chance to work with so many departments; marketing, sales, account management, sponsorship, and more opened my eyes to all of the different fields of work that would be of interest to me. At FanCompass they are not going to let you just slip through the cracks, they will push you to strive and discover more about the field and your place in it. I was able to speak to those who hold a high level amongst teams and colleges, create content for social media, present findings, data, and campaigns to the whole team, and learn from qualified people who have been in the industry for years!
I want to thank Lisa, Angie, David, Ryan, Aaron, and of course Jamie for an exciting and incredibly educational experience without which I would not know what to search for in my future. FanCompass was an exceptional place to have an internship and I would recommend it to anyone serious about a future in the business world of sport.”

Nick, we wish you the best of luck!
